After timing in ninth fastest in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying on Friday night, Don grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his stacked heat race. The Martinsville, Indiana ace then started Saturday's $20,000 to win contest from the outside of the sixth row and was able to steer past five competitors during the 100-lapper on his way to a steady seventh place effort.
